Isabella Gaze

Isabella Charli Gaze, born on May 8, 2004, in Haarlem, Netherlands, is a rising star in New Zealand women's cricket, known primarily for her role as a wicketkeeper and right-handed batter. She moved to New Zealand at a young age and developed her cricketing skills there, making her domestic debut for Auckland Hearts in 2019. After progressing through New Zealand’s cricketing ranks, Gaze made her international Twenty20 debut against South Africa during the 2022 Commonwealth Games, where New Zealand won the bronze medal.

Known for her sharp wicketkeeping skills and positive batting approach, Isabella has become a key figure behind the stumps and is praised for her athleticism and composure. She made her One Day International (ODI) debut in September 2022 on New Zealand’s tour of the West Indies. Gaze was also part of New Zealand’s squad for the inaugural ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup in 2023 and was named in the national squad for the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
