Karabo Meso

Karabo Meso, born on September 18, 2007, is an emerging young cricketer from South Africa who plays as a right-handed batter and wicketkeeper. She represents Central Gauteng domestically and was recognized for her talent early on, making her List A debut in 2021 and her T20 debut in 2022. Karabo impressed on the international stage as part of South Africa's Under-19 squad at the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup, where she scored 80 runs and was named in the Team of the Tournament after taking eight dismissals as a wicketkeeper.

In March 2024, Karabo earned her maiden call-up to the South Africa senior team, making her WT20 International debut against Sri Lanka. Soon after, she was named in the ODI squad, marking the beginning of her international career. She shone in the 2023 African Games with a record five dismissals as wicketkeeper, helping South Africa win a silver medal.
