Sinalo Jafta

Sinalo Jafta, born on December 22, 1994, in East London, South Africa, is a professional cricketer who plays as a wicketkeeper and right-handed batter for the South Africa women's national team. She began her international career with her WODI debut against New Zealand in October 2016 and made her WT20I debut against Pakistan in May 2019. Known for her sharp glovework behind the stumps and useful batting capabilities, Jafta has been a reliable player for South Africa in all formats of the game. She was appointed captain of the South African Emerging Women's squad that toured Bangladesh in 2021 and has played key roles in major tournaments including the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, the Women's Cricket World Cup, and the Commonwealth Games.

Throughout her career, Sinalo has been celebrated for her composure, agility behind the wickets, and tactical acumen. She made her Test debut in June 2022 against England, solidifying her status as an all-format player.
