Darcey Elizabeth Morris Carter is a right-handed all-rounder from Scotland, born on 31 May 2005 in Bexley, Kent, who plays as a right-arm off-break bowler and a fluent top-order batter. Emerging through the English county system with Kent Women and South East Stars, she quickly caught the eye for her elegant stroke-play, good foot-work against spin, and tidy off-spin that can control the middle overs. Her dual-role profile has made her a key piece in Scotland’s white-ball plans, where she can both anchor the innings and chip in with crucial wickets when the ball is older.

Darcey made her international debut for Scotland in July 2023 in a T20I against Thailand and has since represented her country across T20Is and ODIs, building a solid record that includes multiple half-centuries and regular wicket-taking spells.
