Kaushini Nuthyangana

Kaushini Nuthyangana (born Edirisooriya Mohottilage Kaushini Nuthyanga Heram Senavirathna on August 5, 2002) is a highly skilled, agile right-handed wicketkeeper-batter who represents the exciting future of Sri Lanka’s women's national cricket setup. Born and raised in Colombo, she refined her sharp glovework and batting technique within the prestigious domestic pipelines of Anula Vidyalaya, Colts Cricket Club, and Colombo Cricket Club, marking herself early as an incredibly sharp, modern short-format prospect. Operating with lightning reflexes behind the stumps and a high-intent, aggressive batting blueprint in the lower-middle order, Nuthyangana made her international debut as a teenager against the United Arab Emirates during the 2022 Women’s Asia Cup in Sylhet.

Her tactical adaptability under pressure quickly earned her a place in Sri Lanka's squad for the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in South Africa.
