Shemaine Campbelle

Shemaine Altia Campbelle, born on 14 October 1992 in Guyana, is a versatile all-rounder and occasional wicket-keeper who plays internationally for the West Indies and domestically for Guyana and Guyana Amazon Warriors. She holds the unique record of being the first and only woman to score a century in a Women's ODI while batting at number seven or lower, with an unbeaten 105 runs. Campbelle also became the youngest captain in a Women's T20 International match at 19 years and 338 days and was part of the West Indies team that won the ICC Women's World T20 in 2016.

Since her international debut in 2009, Campbelle has been a key figure in West Indies women's cricket, earning central contracts and representing her side in multiple ICC tournaments, including the 2018 and 2020 Women's T20 World Cups and the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup. She marked her 100th WT20I appearance during the 2020 tournament and continues to contribute with both bat and ball. Campbelle remains an integral member of the West Indies squad, recently participating in the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup and the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier, demonstrating her sustained importance to the team over a long and successful career.
