Wessly Madhevere

Wessly Madhevere is a right-handed batting all-rounder who gives Zimbabwe valuable balance heading into the ODI series against Australia. The Harare-born player has established himself as a versatile member of the national side, capable of contributing with both bat and off-spin. He comes into the series with useful ODI form, having struck a fluent 75 off 74 balls against Bangladesh in July. Madhevere has also been among Zimbabwe’s regular white-ball players and recently returned to the T20I setup against India, where he contributed 69 runs across the three matches.
