Curtis Campher

Curtis Campher is a right-handed batting all-rounder who has become an important part of Ireland's white-ball setup. He offers a strong combination of middle-order batting and right-arm medium-fast bowling, giving his side flexibility in both departments. With the bat he is capable of rebuilding after early wickets or accelerating later in the innings, while his bowling is based on changes of pace, disciplined lines and the ability to create chances during the middle overs.

Campher has already produced two extraordinary bowling moments in T20 cricket. At the 2021 T20 World Cup he took four wickets in four consecutive balls against the Netherlands, becoming the first Ireland bowler to claim a T20I hat-trick. He surpassed even that unusual feat in domestic cricket in 2025 when, playing for Munster Reds, he took five wickets in five balls against North West Warriors, becoming the first male cricketer to achieve the sequence in a professional match.

Those headline achievements sit alongside a broader all-round skill set that makes Campher valuable in a T20 squad. He has extensive international experience for Ireland and has also played in overseas franchise and county competitions, adding further exposure to different conditions and tactical roles. Because he can bat in several middle-order positions and provide useful overs with the ball, he gives captains the freedom to adjust their combination according to the opposition and match situation.
