Jordan Neill

Jordan Neill is a young right-handed all-rounder who has emerged through Ireland's age-group and domestic pathways. Born in South Africa, he represented Ireland at Under-19 level before progressing into senior domestic cricket, where his combination of batting and right-arm medium-fast bowling marked him as a player with considerable all-round potential. His skill set is naturally suited to T20 cricket because he can contribute in multiple phases without requiring a specialist role.

Neill made his senior T20 debut for Munster Reds in the 2024 Inter-Provincial Trophy and has continued to develop through Ireland's domestic structure. Although he is still at an early stage of his T20 career, exposure to senior cricket has given him opportunities to refine both his power game with the bat and his variations with the ball. His subsequent progression into Ireland's senior international setup in the longer formats further demonstrated how highly his overall cricketing ability is regarded.

From a T20 perspective, Neill's greatest attraction is his potential flexibility. A seam-bowling all-rounder who can add depth to the batting order allows a captain to lengthen the lineup while retaining an extra pace option. As his experience grows, the key will be developing a clearly defined role, but his athleticism, two-way skill set and exposure to high-level cricket already give him an intriguing foundation for the shortest format.
