Kyle Klein
Kyle Klein is a right-arm pace bowler who has quickly established himself as an emerging option for the Netherlands. Born in South Africa and eligible for the Dutch side through family heritage, Klein brings a direct fast-bowling approach built around pace, accuracy and attacking the stumps. In T20 cricket he is capable of operating in different phases, with his wicket-taking ability making him particularly useful when a captain needs to break a partnership rather than simply contain the scoring rate.
Klein entered the Netherlands senior setup in 2024 and his early T20 record has been encouraging. By the early stages of 2026 he had already taken more than 30 wickets in his first 20 T20 matches, demonstrating an ability to strike regularly despite the attacking nature of the format. His progression into World Cup cricket has accelerated his exposure to top-level batters and provided valuable experience under pressure.
As the younger brother of fellow Dutch international Ryan Klein, Kyle comes from a strong cricketing background but is developing his own identity as a pace bowler. His ability to take wickets gives him a high ceiling in T20 cricket, while further refinement of his slower balls and death-over execution can make him even more versatile. For the Netherlands, he represents an important part of the next generation of seam-bowling options.
