Mitchell Marsh

Mitchell Marsh is a powerful Australian all-rounder whose aggressive batting has made him a major force in T20 cricket. Usually deployed in the top order, he combines exceptional strength with clean striking down the ground and through the leg side, allowing him to put pressure on pace and spin alike. Marsh is particularly dangerous once he gets through the opening phase of an innings, as his ability to clear the boundary repeatedly can transform the scoring rate within a few overs.

One of the defining performances of Marsh's T20 career came in the 2021 T20 World Cup final, when he struck an unbeaten 77 against New Zealand and was named Player of the Match as Australia won their first men's T20 World Cup title. He has since become an important leader in Australia's T20 setup and has also produced major franchise performances, including a prolific 2025 IPL season for Lucknow Super Giants in which he scored more than 600 runs at a strike rate above 160.
