Tim Pringle

Tim Pringle is a Netherlands bowling all-rounder whose primary strength is his accurate slow left-arm orthodox spin. Born in The Hague and developed partly through New Zealand cricket, Pringle brings a useful combination of Dutch international experience and exposure to strong domestic systems. In T20 cricket he is at his best when he can vary pace and trajectory, challenge batters to hit against the turn and build pressure through controlled overs.

Pringle made his T20I debut for the Netherlands in 2022 and has since been involved in major international assignments, including T20 World Cup cricket. His left-arm spin gives the Dutch attack a valuable point of difference, particularly against right-handed middle orders, while he can also be used when conditions reward bowlers prepared to take pace off the ball. He has represented Northern Districts and New Zealand A in addition to his Netherlands commitments, adding useful experience across different environments.

With the bat, Pringle is generally used in the lower order but is capable of contributing useful runs and extending the lineup. His main T20 value, however, comes from providing control and matchup flexibility as a specialist spin option who can also field and bat competently. That balance makes him a practical squad player, especially on surfaces where slower bowling becomes increasingly difficult to attack as the innings progresses.
