Alexander Roy

Alexander Roy is a Netherlands all-rounder who offers a combination of right-handed batting and right-arm medium-fast bowling. His skill set gives him the potential to contribute in several T20 roles, whether providing batting depth, supporting the pace attack or being used as a matchup option when conditions suit seam bowling.

Roy has developed through Dutch cricket and has been part of the wider Netherlands pathway at a time when the national setup has expanded its pool of short-format players. His involvement in high-level domestic and franchise environments provides an opportunity to build experience alongside established international cricketers.

In T20 cricket, players with Roy's two-way profile can be particularly valuable because they allow captains to adjust combinations without sacrificing depth. Continued exposure at this level should help him refine his batting tempo and bowling variations, two areas that can make a seam-bowling all-rounder highly effective.
