Fred Klaassen

Fred Klaassen is a left-arm fast-medium bowler who gives the Netherlands a valuable point of difference in T20 cricket. He can move the new ball, attack the stumps and use his angle across right-handed batters, while his changes of pace make him capable of operating beyond the powerplay as well.

Klaassen has represented the Netherlands in multiple international competitions and has also built substantial experience in English domestic cricket. Exposure to county T20 competitions has helped him develop the control and tactical variation required when bowling to aggressive batters on small grounds.

His left-arm angle is especially useful in T20 matchups because it forces batters to adjust their hitting zones and can create early wickets. Klaassen is most effective when he combines that natural variation with disciplined lengths, giving his team a bowler who can both attack and control the scoring rate.
