Tim Tector

Tim Tector is a right-handed Irish batter with a compact technique and an increasingly confident approach to T20 cricket. He is comfortable rotating strike through the middle overs but also has the range to attack when bowlers miss their lengths, giving him the potential to operate in several positions across the top and middle order.

Tector progressed through Ireland's age-group system and captained the country at Under-19 level before moving into senior domestic and international cricket. His development in the Inter-Provincial structure has given him regular exposure to T20 situations and helped him refine the balance between accumulation and boundary-hitting.

As his senior career develops, Tector's adaptability is likely to be one of his most useful traits. He can provide composure when an innings needs rebuilding, while his improving power game gives him the ability to accelerate later, making him a useful batting option for teams seeking both technique and flexibility.
