Chris Greaves

Chris Greaves is a leg-spinning all-rounder who has become a useful multi-dimensional player for Scotland in T20 cricket. He offers right-arm leg-breaks through the middle overs and can contribute energetic lower-order batting, giving the side depth beyond its specialist batters and bowlers.

Greaves made a major impression at the 2021 T20 World Cup, where his all-round performance helped Scotland defeat Bangladesh in the opening round. Since then he has remained part of the national white-ball setup and has gained experience against a broad range of international opposition.

His leg-spin gives Scotland an attacking option when partnerships need to be broken, while his batting can provide valuable late runs. That ability to influence both innings makes him particularly useful in T20 cricket, where even a short burst of runs or a single wicket can change momentum.
