George Dockrell

George Dockrell is an experienced Irish all-rounder whose career has evolved from specialist left-arm spinner into an increasingly influential middle-order batter. In T20 cricket he now offers a valuable combination of clean hitting, composure under pressure and the ability to provide spin overs when required.

Dockrell has represented Ireland since his teenage years and has accumulated extensive experience across multiple T20 World Cups. Over time he has transformed his batting, becoming a stronger finisher and a player capable of producing quick runs against both pace and spin.

That evolution makes him especially useful in modern T20 cricket. Dockrell can be used as a flexible middle-order batter, a matchup spinner or both, while his experience and fielding standards add stability to a side during high-pressure phases.
