Harry Tector

Harry Tector is a technically strong right-handed batter who has become one of Ireland's leading players across formats. In T20 cricket he is usually most effective through the middle overs, where his ability to play spin, rotate strike and then accelerate gives the innings both stability and attacking potential.

Tector progressed rapidly from Ireland's age-group system into the senior side and has since accumulated substantial international experience, including multiple T20 World Cups. Although his longer-format batting often receives greater attention, his T20 game has continued to evolve as he adds more power and boundary options.

His greatest value is the ability to read a match situation and adjust his tempo. Tector can rebuild after early wickets, target favourable matchups once set and provide leadership within the batting group, making him a dependable middle-order presence in a format that often rewards composure as much as raw power.
