Muhammad Waseem

Muhammad Waseem is a powerful right-handed opener whose aggressive approach has made him one of the UAE's most dangerous T20 batters. He looks to dominate the powerplay with strong lofted hitting, particularly down the ground and over the leg side, and is capable of producing very high scoring rates from the start.

Waseem has been a central figure in the UAE T20I side and has also played in franchise competitions, including the ILT20. His international career has featured multiple hundreds and a large volume of six-hitting, establishing him as one of the standout attacking batters in associate cricket.

His role is straightforward but extremely valuable: create pressure immediately and give the innings momentum before the field spreads. When Waseem bats beyond the powerplay he can turn a fast start into a match-defining total, making him a major threat whenever he survives the early new-ball challenge.
