Peter Hatzoglou

Peter Hatzoglou is a right-arm leg-spinner whose T20 career has been built around accuracy, pace variation and the ability to make batters hit against his preferred areas. He bowls a relatively flat, modern style of wrist-spin and is comfortable operating through the middle overs when teams are looking to accelerate.

Hatzoglou rose rapidly through Australian domestic cricket and became a regular in the Big Bash League, representing multiple franchises after initially emerging from grade cricket. In 2026 he shifted his international pathway to Greece, adding another chapter to a career already shaped heavily by short-format cricket.

His T20 experience is a major asset because he has bowled extensively on small grounds and against aggressive batting lineups. Hatzoglou's control, willingness to change pace and strong understanding of matchups make him a useful specialist spinner in conditions where batters cannot simply wait for loose deliveries.
