Andrew Tye

Andrew Tye is a vastly experienced right-arm fast-medium bowler whose T20 reputation has been built on slower balls, knuckleballs, yorkers and an exceptional understanding of death bowling. Rather than relying on raw pace, he constantly changes speed and length to make clean hitting difficult.

Tye has represented Australia in T20 internationals and played extensively in the Big Bash League, IPL and other franchise competitions. His career includes major wicket-taking seasons and numerous high-pressure spells in the final overs, where his variation has made him one of the format's most recognisable specialists.

His experience allows him to read batters quickly and change plans without losing confidence. Tye is particularly valuable when defending totals because he can take pace off on slower surfaces, force miscues to larger boundaries and remain a wicket-taking threat even when batters are attacking.
