Finlay McCreath

Finlay McCreath is a right-handed Scottish batter who has progressed from domestic and pathway cricket into the senior international setup. His game is based on a sound technical foundation, but he has also developed the ability to increase the tempo and find boundaries as an innings progresses.

McCreath's performances in Scottish domestic cricket earned him greater involvement with the national side, and he was selected in Scotland's squad for the 2026 T20 World Cup. That exposure gave him the opportunity to test his game in a high-pressure global tournament environment.

In T20 cricket, McCreath offers the potential to fill a stabilising middle-order role while still providing acceleration later. Continued experience against international attacks should help him broaden his scoring options and become more comfortable switching tempo quickly.
