Mark Watt

Mark Watt is a highly experienced slow left-arm orthodox spinner whose unusual angles and changes of pace make him one of Scotland's most distinctive T20 bowlers. He is known for varying his release point, using flatter trajectories and occasionally bowling from well behind the crease to disrupt a batter's timing.

Watt has represented Scotland in numerous T20 World Cups and has been a central part of their white-ball attack for many years. His experience against full-member nations has reinforced his reputation as a bowler who is comfortable operating under pressure and against aggressive batting.

His value is built around control and tactical creativity rather than extravagant turn. Watt can restrict scoring through the middle overs, target specific matchups and force batters to generate their own pace, making him difficult to attack cleanly on suitable surfaces.
