Ross Adair

Ross Adair is an explosive right-handed opener whose direct approach makes him one of Ireland's more dangerous powerplay batters. A former professional rugby player, he brings obvious athleticism and strength to his batting and is willing to attack fast bowling from the outset rather than spend time settling in.

Adair has represented Ireland in T20 internationals and has produced several high-impact innings, including a T20I century against South Africa. His domestic performances and international opportunities have established him as a batter capable of changing the shape of a game within the first six overs.

His role in T20 cricket is primarily to create momentum. When Adair finds his timing, his combination of power and fearless shot selection can force captains to alter fields and bowling plans early, giving the batters around him more favourable conditions to build on.
