Tom Bruce

Tom Bruce is a powerful right-handed batter whose T20 career has been shaped by aggressive middle-order batting and extensive experience in New Zealand domestic cricket. He is strong against pace, capable of clearing straight boundaries and comfortable accelerating rapidly once he has settled.

Bruce previously represented New Zealand in T20 internationals before later becoming eligible for Scotland, whom he represented at the 2026 T20 World Cup. He has also played franchise and county cricket, adding considerable short-format experience to Scotland's batting group.

His ability to combine experience with boundary-hitting gives him clear T20 value. Bruce can stabilise an innings if required but is most dangerous when attacking through the middle and death overs, while occasional off-spin provides a supplementary option.
