Gerhard Erasmus

Gerhard Erasmus is an experienced Namibian all-rounder who combines dependable right-handed batting with useful off-spin and strong leadership. He is capable of batting through the middle overs, accelerating later and using his bowling to create favourable matchups against left-handed batters.

Erasmus has been a central figure in Namibia's rise in international cricket and has led the side at multiple global tournaments. His performances across T20I cricket have established him as one of the country's most reliable players and a key decision-maker under pressure.

His T20 value comes from the fact that he rarely contributes in only one area. Erasmus can anchor or accelerate with the bat, provide economical overs of spin and lead the side tactically, making him a highly efficient all-round selection.
