Keshav Maharaj

Keshav Maharaj is a highly experienced slow left-arm orthodox spinner whose accuracy and subtle variations make him a dependable T20 option. He changes pace and trajectory intelligently, attacks the stumps and is comfortable bowling to aggressive batters without abandoning his plans.

Maharaj has represented South Africa across formats and has also played in major franchise competitions, including the IPL and SA20. His leadership experience and years of international cricket have given him a strong understanding of matchups and how to manage the middle overs.

In T20 cricket, Maharaj's value comes from control and decision-making rather than dramatic turn. He can squeeze the scoring rate, force batters to take risks and provide useful lower-order runs, making him a steady and tactically intelligent selection.
