Lungi Ngidi

Lungi Ngidi is a powerful right-arm fast bowler who combines heavy lengths with slower-ball variations and strong wicket-taking instincts. He can make the ball climb awkwardly from a good length and is also comfortable using cutters when the surface rewards pace changes.

Ngidi has represented South Africa in major ICC tournaments and has played franchise cricket in the IPL, SA20 and other competitions. His international career has included several high-impact spells where his ability to take wickets in clusters changed the momentum of an innings.

In T20 cricket, Ngidi is most valuable when used as an attacking option rather than simply to contain. He can strike with the new ball, break partnerships through the middle overs and use variations at the death, giving a captain several ways to deploy him.
