Matthew Cross

Matthew Cross is an experienced right-handed wicketkeeper-batter who has been a long-standing part of Scotland's white-ball setup. His T20 batting is built around compact technique, quick running and the ability to keep the innings moving, while his wicketkeeping provides reliable value behind the stumps.

Cross has represented Scotland in multiple ICC tournaments and has accumulated extensive international experience against both associate and full-member opposition. He has filled several batting roles over the years, from opening to the middle order, and has often been trusted in pressure situations.

In T20 cricket, Cross is particularly useful as a stabilising presence around more aggressive hitters. He can rotate strike, exploit gaps and manage the tempo of an innings, while his experience and wicketkeeping make him an important tactical presence throughout the match.
