Michael Leask

Michael Leask is a powerful Scottish all-rounder who combines aggressive right-handed batting with right-arm off-spin. He is often used in the middle or lower order, where his strength and willingness to attack make him capable of changing the scoring rate quickly.

Leask has represented Scotland for many years and has featured in multiple ICC tournaments, gaining extensive experience against varied international opposition. His off-spin has also given Scotland useful overs through the middle phase, particularly when matchups favour him.

In T20 cricket, his main value is impact. Leask can provide a short burst of boundary-hitting, break a partnership with the ball or contribute athletic fielding, giving Scotland several possible ways to gain momentum from his inclusion.
