Richie Berrington

Richie Berrington is a highly experienced right-handed batter and occasional seam bowler who has been one of Scotland's most dependable T20 performers. He is strongest through the middle order, where his ability to absorb pressure and then accelerate makes him a valuable link between the top order and finishers.

Berrington has represented Scotland in numerous global tournaments and has captained the national side, giving him extensive experience in high-pressure international cricket. His career includes memorable innings against full-member opposition and a long record of consistency in the Scottish middle order.

His value in T20 cricket comes from experience, adaptability and calm decision-making. Berrington can rebuild when early wickets fall, target spin once set and provide leadership throughout the innings, making him a stabilising presence around more explosive players.
