Ben McDermott

Ben McDermott is a powerful right-handed wicketkeeper-batter who has built a strong reputation in Australian T20 cricket. He is capable of opening or batting in the middle order and combines clean straight hitting with the ability to attack pace during the powerplay.

Mcdermott has represented Australia in T20 internationals and has been a prolific performer in the Big Bash League, where he has produced multiple centuries and several match-winning innings. His domestic record reflects the high boundary-hitting ceiling he can bring when he gets through the early overs.

In T20 cricket, his value lies in explosive scoring without being restricted to a single batting position. Mcdermott can take advantage of fielding restrictions, finish an innings if required and also keep wickets, giving teams useful flexibility in both batting order and selection.
