David Wiese

David Wiese is one of the most experienced seam-bowling all-rounders in franchise T20 cricket, combining powerful right-handed finishing with clever medium-fast bowling. His slower balls, cutters and wide yorkers make him effective at the death, while his batting allows him to clear the boundary immediately.

Wiese represented South Africa earlier in his career before later becoming a key player for Namibia, including at multiple T20 World Cups. He has also played in major leagues around the world, building a reputation as a reliable pressure player in knockout and closing-over situations.

His T20 value comes from versatility and composure. Wiese can bowl difficult overs, finish a chase, rescue an innings with the bat and contribute strong fielding, giving a team several ways to use him depending on the match situation.
