Jai Moondra

Jai Moondra is a left-arm fast-medium bowler who has emerged rapidly into Ireland's senior T20 plans. He attacks the stumps, uses his left-arm angle to challenge right-handed batters and brings the type of wicket-taking intent that can be particularly valuable during the powerplay.

Indian-born Moondra earned his first Ireland senior call-up in 2026 and made an immediate impression during the home T20I series against India. His three-wicket spell in the series-clinching victory helped announce him as an exciting new option in Ireland's pace attack.

Left-arm seam gives a T20 side natural variation, and Moondra's early performances suggest he is comfortable using that advantage aggressively. As he gains experience, further development of slower balls and death-over skills can make him an increasingly complete short-format bowler.
