Michael Levitt

Michael Levitt is an explosive right-handed opener whose fearless approach has made him one of the Netherlands' most exciting T20 batters. He attacks pace and spin aggressively, generates considerable power and is willing to take risks early in order to maximise the powerplay.

Levitt announced himself internationally with a rapid T20I century against Namibia in 2024 and has since become an important part of the Dutch top order. His performances have shown that he can produce both extremely fast starts and significant innings when his aggression is sustained.

His role in T20 cricket is to create immediate scoreboard pressure. Levitt's power can force defensive fields before the powerplay is complete, and his ability to continue attacking after the field spreads gives the Netherlands a genuine game-changing option at the top.
