Jewel Andrew

Jewel Andrew is a right-handed wicketkeeper-batter who has been included in the West Indies squad for the ongoing three-match ODI series against India. The young Antiguan made his international debut as a teenager and has steadily gained exposure across ODI and T20I cricket, while also representing the Leeward Islands and West Indies Academy. Andrew is regarded as a flexible batting option who can operate in the top or middle order, giving the West Indies additional depth in their batting combination. His recall for the India tour offers another opportunity to build his experience at the international level.

Andrew combines wicketkeeping skills with an attacking right-handed batting style and has shown the ability to accelerate when he gets settled at the crease. His domestic record includes a List A hundred and a first-class century, highlighting his potential to produce substantial innings despite his limited international experience. He also became the youngest West Indian to open in an ODI when he was promoted to the top of the order against England in 2025. With West Indies facing India in the final ODI in New Chandigarh on October 3, Andrew will be looking to make his opportunity count. For fantasy cricket, his wicketkeeper-batter role provides multiple routes to points through runs, catches and stumpings if he features in the playing XI.
