Quentin Sampson

Quentin Sampson is a right-handed middle-order batter who has returned to the West Indies squad for the five-match T20I series against India. The Guyanese cricketer earned his maiden international call-up in January 2026 after being named the Breakout Player of the 2025 Caribbean Premier League. He subsequently featured for West Indies at the 2026 T20 World Cup, gaining exposure to major international competition early in his career. Sampson has also represented Guyana Amazon Warriors in the CPL, where his ability to attack from the middle order has helped establish him as one of the emerging batting options in the Caribbean.

Sampson brings an aggressive approach to the middle order and can look to accelerate the scoring rate once he gets settled at the crease. His recent T20 experience has come against a variety of bowling attacks, giving him opportunities to develop his game in high-pressure situations. He also bowls occasional right-arm medium pace, although his primary responsibility remains with the bat. With West Indies facing India across Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru from October 6 to 17, Sampson will be looking to build on his early international experience. For fantasy cricket, his attacking batting style and occasional fielding or bowling contributions provide additional avenues for points if he features in the playing XI.
