Shamar Springer

Shamar Springer is a right-handed batting all-rounder who bowls right-arm medium-fast and has been named in the West Indies squad for the five-match T20I series against India. The Barbadian has developed his game through domestic cricket and franchise competitions, while also gaining international exposure across both white-ball formats. His ability to contribute in multiple departments gives the West Indies another flexible option in the middle and lower order. Springer has already shown that he can make an impact with the ball at international level, including a hat-trick against Afghanistan in Dubai earlier in 2026.

Springer offers useful versatility because he can provide attacking runs while also delivering a genuine seam-bowling option. His medium-fast bowling can be used to break partnerships or cover important overs, while his right-handed batting allows him to add depth and acceleration when required. With West Indies taking on India across Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru from October 6 to 17, Springer will be looking to build on his previous international appearances. For fantasy cricket, his all-round profile gives him several potential scoring avenues through runs, wickets and fielding contributions, particularly if he is given a meaningful role in the playing XI.
