Anshul Kamboj
Anshul Kamboj is an Indian cricketer from Karnal, Haryana, known for his right-arm fast-medium bowling and ability to contribute with the bat. Born on 6 December 2000, Kamboj developed his reputation as a disciplined pace bowler capable of generating movement off the pitch, maintaining consistent lines and lengths, and troubling batters with natural bounce. He made his first-class debut for Haryana in 2022 and gradually established himself as an important member of the state's bowling attack across formats.
Kamboj gained national recognition through his impressive domestic performances, particularly during Haryana's title-winning 2023–24 Vijay Hazare Trophy campaign, where he emerged as one of the side's key wicket-takers. His defining domestic achievement came in November 2024 when he took all ten wickets in an innings against Kerala in the Ranji Trophy, becoming only the third bowler in the competition's history to achieve the feat. His performances also earned him opportunities in the Indian Premier League, where he represented Mumbai Indians before moving to Chennai Super Kings.
Kamboj's consistent performances eventually pushed him into India's international setup, and he made his Test debut against England at Manchester in July 2025. Primarily valued for his accuracy, seam movement and ability to extract bounce from the surface, he offers India a dependable pace option capable of operating effectively in both red-ball and limited-overs cricket. With growing experience at domestic, IPL and international level, Kamboj continues to develop as one of India's promising fast-bowling talents.
